    Wonderful .. we have regular Swift ‘visitors’ here in Presteigne each year. There are often organised ‘Swift-Watch’ walks at dusk. The gang of Swifts fly over my house each morning and evening. Glad they are in Llangunllo 👍

  4. Land Matters

    The Swift box installed on the back of the ‘Flexible Space’ (a.k.a. Tool Shed) has had Sparrows nesting in it. Swifts and Sparrows can sometimes share nesting spaces, as Sparrows have often finished their first brood before the Swifts arrive. However, where there is overlap, violent fights can occur, although Swifts usually win and evict the Sparrows.
